BA in Blue Tango Immersion November 8 - 18/2026

When the city turns blue. When the embrace feels softer. When Buenos Aires reveals its most poetic version.

Join us for BA in Blue 2026 and experience tango where it truly lives.

Every November Buenos Aires Turns Blue

For a brief and magical moment, jacaranda trees bloom across the city, painting entire avenues in violet-blue petals.

The air softens. Time slows down.

And tango — already alive in every corner — feels happier, deeper, warmer, more intimate.

This is BA in Blue. And this is the most beautiful moment of the year to experience tango in its birthplace.

More than "workshops". More than milongas.

This is a full cultural immersion into the culture of tango  — where dance, music, poetry, history, neighborhoods, cafés, and everyday porteño life blend into one unforgettable experience.

Recognized by Wanderlust (2025) as the most attractive city in the world, Buenos Aires offers far more than nights out dancing.

During this immersion, you don’t just visit the city — you live it.

About your host

María Olivera

María Olivera has over 20 years of experience in the tango world as a dancer, teacher, and cultural guide.

She is the director of Escuela del Abrazo, one of Buenos Aires’ respected spaces for social tango, and has toured internationally for many years, teaching, performing, and lecturing across the Americas and Europe.

Beyond the dance floor, María is also a political scientist and a historian of the city of Buenos Aires, weaving tango together with urban history, poetry, and everyday life.

Her immersions are shaped by a deep understanding of the city — not only how it dances, but how it breathes.

BA in Blue is an invitation to experience Buenos Aires from the inside, guided by someone who has lived her entire life surrounded by Argentine and tango culture.
